Winter is finally here guys. Whether we want to admit it or not. I mean, my hands get cold just holding a coffee outside without mitts on – IT’S WINTER. And after 25 years of living in Canada, you’d think I’d be used to it by now… absolutely not. Every winter, it’s like I’m an LA-transplant all over again.
But my motto for anything in life I don’t like is “suck it up princess, you got this”, so I’m doing just that. And I’m putting in some retail therapy to make it all okay… sucking it up can also be a form of treating yo self #JustSaying. ALSO – it’s also Black Friday season, so tons of stuff is on sale!
Winter style can often be difficult. You’re almost always layered with a parka/jacket, it doesn’t feel like there’s a lot of option, and let’s face it, the priority is to stay warm (at least it is for me). Changing up your winter style can also get pricey. I hear you – jackets are not as cheap as the silky camisole you were wearing all summer.
BUT never to fear – there are solutions out there in the world (or at least online haha). I went on a bit of a jacket shopping spree, mostly enabled by Shopbop’s crazy Black Friday sale (details below). p.s. they didn’t gift my purchases – I bought them all on my own.

There is truly nothing that says cool more than a good moto jacket. I’ve been on the hunt for a good quality, perfectly fitting one for a while and this BLK DNM one is super on point.

Because LBH, us Canadians or anyone in the North really, wear parkas for 50% of the year… and although they’re for warmth, there’s definitely ones that are super stylish.

The Denim – for the hipster days
The denim jacket is a kin to the leather jacket – always in style, always cool, and absolutely effortless. Paired with a Tshirt and sweatpants, you’re ready to be in a streetstyle shot.

The Fluffer – for the #ImATeddyBear days
