5 Spring Jacket Must Haves

Oh, the smell of spring blooms. We are almost there my friends. My fellow Canadians will feel my pain, given our last minute mini blizzard last weekend. It’s April for Pete’s sake!

That said, this week is finally a full week without a day in negative degree temperatures, and I’m feeling inspired about it. There’s nothing like the weather getting warmer and the sunshine getting brighter to really perk up our spirits. I don’t know about you but my weather mood swings are more severe than my period’s.

And with warm weather means that we finally pack in the dear ol’ parka and switch it up for fun Spring layers. I personally can’t wait to stuff my marshmellow puffers away. As nice as it is living in a cocoon all season long, I’m ready to blossom into the Spring butterfly I was meant to be haha

This season, I have my eyes on so many different Spring jackets. What’s amazing abut investing in Spring jackets is that you can 100% wear it through multiple seasons – summer when the AC is too strong, and in the fall, just when the weather’s getting a bit chillier (although let’s not think about that one).

Rounding up my top 5 types of Spring jackets below and some of the ones I have my eyes on:

1. The Trench

From a thicker, lined trench, to a light duster, the trench way is the way to go. I love how trench coats add the finishing polished touch to just about any outfit (including a crop top and mom jeans haha).

The one I’m wearing here is a new seasonal friends from my friends at Le Chateau. It’s super light, which makes it the perfect layering piece. Wear it on its own for a lady like statement or layered with a moto jacket for some edge. Added bonus? Like most of my favourite Le Chateau pieces, it’s made in Canada!
