This is probably the cheesiest post you’ll ever read – but I’m going to write it anyways. I’ve been going through this phase recently on loving super flowy, long hemmed, minimalistic dresses. I’m not sure why because I normally reserve dresses for specific occasions – but these dresses have been on my high rotation.
I think my inclusion of these “inner goddess” dresses is a result of how they make me feel when I step into them. Their comfort level is high (which you all know is a #1 for me) but above all, they move with you – which I think is so inspirational.
It’s one thing for an article of clothing to suit you or compliment your body type, and it’s another thing for it to move with your movements. Think – intuitive clothing. I know it’s a far stretch from “wearable tech” but I think it’s just as impressive.
I’ve gone ahead and knighted these magical dresses as “inner goddess” dresses – because they really do pull the goddess out of you. I felt like Cleopatra or perhaps Aphrodite walking around with it trailing behind me.
Styling My Inner Goddess Dress
This dress (from Mendocino) actually had a high-to-low hem, which allowed for the wind to catch perfectly (this day wasn’t actually very windy at all). I styled it simply, so as to speak to the whole effortless goddess vibe 
so modern-minimalistic jewelry and monochrome slides fit perfectly.
We all know I’m a cheese ball and that I feel like my clothes speak to me (no I’m not psycho 
). This inner goddess dress not only (duh) brings out my inner goddess, but I almost feel lifted as I walk in it. There’s a breath of confidence and a whimsical ora that comes from wearing it.
Who doesn’t want to feel like that? Truthfully, the clothes just enhance this sentiment. Honestly, that feeling can probably be brought out by wearing a slew of different things (clothes speak to each person differently) or alternatively, you could be wearing nothing and still feel it 
.
But whatever it is that brings our your inner goddess – do it, wear it. There’s nothing more beautiful than feeling beautiful.
