VEGAS: 7 Most Unique & Delicious Spots To Eat

There are a lot of things to do in Vegas. In fact, so much so that you could probably go back each and every month and still never run out of things to do. The city is constantly changing and there is a never-ending flow of newness to experience. True to this philosophy is Las Vegas’ culinary scene.

The tastes and culinary adventures of the city are truly out of this world.

It feels as though the best of the best of the culinary arts have either a permanent residence in Vegas, or at the very least, a pretty strong presence. I mean, what’s more fabulous than making it to Vegas, right?

If you missed my last Vegas post about all the incredible activities in Vegas that will wow you, two girlfriends of mine and I had the incredible opportunity to see the fabulous city in one of the most epic ways possible. In partnership with redtag.ca – one of my favourite travel agencies and often my first go-to checkpoints when planning my travels – the girls and I embarked on quite the week of adventure.
I love using redtag.ca to plan Dave and my travels too (we actually booked our last trip to Cuba entirely through redtag.ca). The travel deals on vacations, flights, hotels, and even car rentals, make planning that perfectly Instagrammable trip as easy as a couple of clicks (quite literally). I’ve also had some of the best customer service experiences booking my travel through them.

And this trip to Vegas was no exception to the fabulous experiences I’ve had in the past, and certainly did not disappoint.

A big part of the trip itinerary was experiencing the city in all of its flavourful glory. The amount and true diversity of culinary experiences in Vegas represents how versatile the city is. There truly is something for everyone; and it’ll remind you that your taste buds can truly surprise you.

We had the opportunity to visit a plethora of restaurants during the trip. Everything from the service, to the ambience, to the incredible menus, and even all the way to the presentation, was truly awe-inspiring.

If you’re thinking of heading to Vegas, contemplating your next vacation, or if you’re a foodie looking to get inspired, look no further. Caution: the below recaps may cause minor major drooling.

1

Julian Serrano Restaurant in Aria

If there’s seafood and paella on the menu, I’m down before I even sit down. The Spanish fare of this beautiful Tapas restaurant in the heart of the Aria Resort and Casino will definitely wow you. It’s Spanish fare, inspired by the Chef Julian Serrano’s native heritage; but dishes like the squid-ink rice seafood paella and the mushroom (truffle-adorned soup) will have you wondering why you don’t eat paella every day.

Lipsmacking Foodie Tour

If there’s one culinary experience that will rock your world, it’s the Lipsmacking Foodie Tour nestled right dab in Downtown Vegas. It’s a multi-restaurant tour that takes you through an insider’s view of downtown’s past, present, and future, and fill your belly right alongside your heart. It’s like getting the best recos from your friend that’s a local.

Hell's Kitchen

Except, is it still Hell’s Kitchen if every single thing on the menu tastes like heaven? You decide. It’s celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s first ever Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, launched recently at Caesar’s Palace. Between drawing inspiration from the chef’s hit reality TV show and the most epic seafood tower and innovative cocktails you’ll ever have, you’ll likely never want to leave. Or, at least, I didn’t.

Primrose

When we found out we would be visiting Vegas, who knew we would also be visiting the South of France? The Primrose at the Monte Carlo literally feels like you’re eating brunch in a country home, decked out with a garden, pastels, and a terrace that’s perfectly fitting for the french-ish fare that will have your mouth watering. If you go, don’t skip out on the pancakes – they’re one of a kind!

Sugar Factory American Brasserie

The name sounds like it says it all, doesn’t it? Not even the half of it, in reality! This spot is like entering into real life Candyland. Between the ambience of a French carnival, a golden carousel, and hands down, the most incredibly adorned drinks, sweets, and even savoury items, you cannot go to Vegas and not visit the Sugar Factory. If you dare (and I mean, why not, you’re in Vegas), you have to order the King Kong sundae. 24 scoops of goodness, donuts, toppings, and even sparklers, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Zuma

Modern Japanese fusion is my jam. Having been to Japan on several occasions, I feel like I’ve become a bit of an expert. But between the beautifully curated izakaya dishes and the perfectly crafted sushi, this elegantly modern Japanese fusion spot schooled me in the best way possible.

MOzen Bistro

There is always a sense of zen walking into a Mandarin Oriental around the world. Visiting the MOzen Bistro was no exception. An automatic wave of relaxation enters your body as soon as you enter the hotel and their bistro seems to embrace you in warmth as you head up to it on the 3rd floor. Classic all-day dining with an asian flare perfectly compliments the peaceful vibe. Not to mention, their printed latte art… I mean, I have no words!

Are you drooling yet? I know I am just recapping all the incredible places we ate at during our trip to Vegas. Whether you’re a culinary connoisseur, just want to have a good meal, or love a great 360 degree experience, Vegas literally has all the stops to pull out for you. That’s what I love so much about this city – it doesn’t judge, it always welcomes, and it truly is absolutely fabulous.
