#ComeWithMe : What Bloggers Do At Events

Ever wonder what us bloggers really do at these “blogger events” or “press events”? I know I always did before I started blogging. I was like… cool, you look at a bunch of things, you take some pictures, and that’s it right? In reality though, these events have become so much more than just press events. Of course, it’s to celebrate the brand, a launch, or products… but they’re also a chance to catch up with friends.

It’s a time to reconnect with all the other bloggers, share ideas, have some laughs, and chat shop. The blogger community is kind of like school. You’ve got your friends, you meet new people all the time, and you share ideas about how to learn more. At least, that’s how I see it. Each and every one of the bloggers have such a cool things going on and I respect their hustle so much. Most of all though, most of them have truly become some of my best friends (Exhibit A: The Lust Listt).

I decided to start this #ComeWithMe series on my Youtube channel because I wanted to share our world with you. It’s a community that’s so accepting and one that I’m so grateful for. It truly has allowed me to grow as a person, to learn about the world, and most of all, make friends. I hope you enjoy hanging out with us and checking out the stuff that really happens behind those glamorous Instagram photos you see.

This event was for one of my favourite furniture companies – Artemano Decor. I got introduced to this just a little while ago but automatically fell in love with the story and vision of their world. The way that they source their wood, the way that they craft their pieces, and each and every employee’s passion for what they do… it’s nothing short of inspiring. I’ll chat more about what I love about them in my room makeover, happening really soon – so make sure to watch out for that!

I think it’s amazing when brands make their press events more interactive and fun. Marketing wise, it makes influencers want to share their experience so much more. At least that’s how I feel. This one was perfect and no immersive in every way (big snaps to my girls at MacIntyre Communication – y’all always slaying at these event-plannings)

I hope you guys enjoy coming to these events with me! I’d love to get your feedback on what you’d like to see, what insider secrets about blogging would be interesting, and overall just what you think emoji
