Before I had my own place, I never wanted to be at home. I figured, there’s so much inspiration out there in the world, why would I stay at home? After our renovations (ripping up our entire home and redesigning it in a custom way), there’s truly nothing I want to do more than enjoy it. Especially with all of Dave and my travels, being at home brings just a level of comfort and calm.
We’re finally sharing some sneak peeks of what our home looks like and I figured I would do it by sharing what a typical comfy day at home looks like for us. And it could not be more fitting to reveal it than with my friends at Chantelle and their new, extremely comfortable, SoftStretch collection.
THEIR STORY
THE HISTORY OF CHANTELLEChantelle is not only one of my favourite lingerie companies (the comfort of their panties and pieces is undeniable), but they also have a fascinating heritage. Chantelle was founded in 1876 (more than full century ago – holy geebus). They were the first to really showcase innovation in elasticized fabrics, which at the time opened up so many new possibilities for corset makers… corsets! What a trip! They were a part of the freedom from corsets in the 20s and continued to revolutionize the way women looked at underwear ever since.
The Chantelle story is so inspiring to me. The way that they have empowered women and made them feel beautiful throughout the ages is something to truly be celebrated.
Chantelle Spring Summer SoftStretch
Us ladies know that feeling… of our undies riding up just a bit too much… and let’s just say… a lack of breathability… mhmm
A DAY AT HOME
AN EDITORIAL WITH CHANTELLE
It is such an honour to work with a brand like Chantelle – a company that has pioneered history for women. It’s empowered, liberated, and celebrated the female body for over a hundred years. I am so inspired by their SoftStretch collection and the ideally of simply being me – embracing each and every curve and line in my body, and above that, celebrating those of my fellow female peers. Our bodies are all beautiful in their own way, and now there’s a lingerie line that celebrates just that.
This post was made in generous partnership with Chantelle and Saint Hillaire Inc. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
