With it being our very first holiday season at our house, 3 holiday parties in the works, and our new years resolutions creeping up on us, “veggie” has definitely been on the mind. Although we’re not full-on vegetarians, a lot of our friends have dietary restrictions that sometimes makes it difficult to find dishes that we can serve to everyone. We’ve also personally been cutting out a lot of meat from our diets, in the name of trying to change our lifestyles. But with the holiday season upon us and the traditions of turkey and stuffing, it can be hard to find these veggie holiday recipes as an alternative (to both enjoy and serve).
But who says eating veggie during the holidays has to be a bummer?
Yves Veggie Cuisine
Dave and I had the opportunity to try out Yves Veggie Cuisine items recently, and let me tell you… there are no bummers when it comes to their food items. As meat eaters and food lovers, we could hardly tell the difference and the flavours of their plant-based options are incredible. From a health nutrition perspective, we’ve also learned that getting protein from plant sources also have so many benefits. They’re lower in fat, hormone free, are easier to digest, and are also so much better for the environment. I’ll leave a link here in case you’re interested in learning more about the benefits of plant proteins.
After trying Yves Veggie Cuisine, we were so inspired and are thrilled to be working with them to share some of their holiday-ready recipes that we put to the test and will seriously have your veggie-guests, meat-eating guests, AND yourselves drooling. We wanted to create recipes that were both easy, fun, and shareable, but also ones where you didn’t feel like you were cheating yourself of indulgences. After trying these, we’re honestly considering the possibility of going full on veggie *gasps*
We made each recipe into save-able ingredient and recipe cards so that you’re able to pin/save/bookmark them and try them out for yourselves, either for the holidays or into the new year. We hope you like them!

We hope that this round up and these recipe ideas inspired you to either try a new veggie based dish or, perhaps, to try a veggie dish for the first time ever! Making the switch has never been easier (or tastier) and Dave and I are so excited to keep trying new veggie recipes. Cheers to voluntarily eating our veggies and tasty food!
