Maybe even all year. I’m a huge fan of the versatile accessory – something that’s both cool and pretty, perfect for the cold and warm seasons, and something that goes with just about everything. And these Chelsea boots are it.
These are actually my second pair of Geox Chelsea boots. You’ve probably seen my previous ones before, and these are basically the exact same. Can you tell I love the style and silhouette?
Black chelsea boots worn with jeans, a skirt, a dress… basically anything, and it automatically gives your outfit a whole ton of street cred. It’s one of those effortless-style things.
And don’t get me wrong I love a good tall heel as much as the next girl, but this is the boot that truly gets down to the grind and hustle with me. They’re the walking boot, the adventure boot, the shopping boot… and it’s got all the features to back it up.
If you’re looking for a perfect Chelsea boot to add to the investment closet, here’s what I typically look for:
-
Comfort soles (Geox slays this category)
-
Clean Lines (It’s a supporting actor and simple compliments everything)
-
Slip ons (for the girls on the go)
-
Curved/Pointed Toe (elongates your legs when they’re in flats/boots)
-
Good Leather (Because if you invest in it, it’ll invest in you… or at least the health of your feet)
The Geox New Virna is basically all-encompassing of the above requirements. And if you’ve got all the above checked off, trust me… these boots will take you everywhere. It’s for the modern woman that has a million things to do and balances it all. She’s badass, and I know she’s YOU! If you don’t already have a pair in your closet, well… thank me later
And this is my favourite way to wear it… biker chic. Although I do love my boots with just about anything.
It gives oxford shirt dresses a chicer edge and makes that casual weekend look that much more elevated. I’m wearing a long oxford shirt from Dave’s closet, my new fav faux Shearling moto from Zara, my Cambridge Satchel bag (which yes, I still use), and new clear specs from my friends at Covry.
I’m a creature of comfort and I’ll rave about Chelsea boots all day because I feel like they represent that philosophy in its being. May the Chelsea boot reign long
