There are some pieces of clothing that you just vibe with – they make you feel good, they make your back a little straighter, and you smile when you’re in them. For me, this speaks to my jumpsuit love affair (think NOT Orange Is The New Black and think MORE Vanessa Hudgens on the red carpet).
I don’t love them just because they kind of remind me of my baby onesie 
(although, wouldn’t it be nice to be a baby again). I love them because the right jumpsuit’s silhouette accentuates you in all the right places while comfortably draping down your curves. And, they elongate you – so you’re kind of hitting that psuedo model status and #legsfordays.
So when the opportunity arose to partner up with Upper Canada Mall for their Get Gorgeous blogger video series on the topic of jumpsuits (it’s actually one of the features in their Gorgeous Magazine), I basically screamed “THIS IS MA JAM”. To add PB to my jam, I also grew up around Upper Canada Mall and have witnessed its growth into a beautiful GTA shopping mainstay (they have everything that any other mall does, if not more, but is significantly more spacious on a Saturday). So needless to say, I was on board.
I’m so excited to share this video with all you melspirationalists! I got to speak to UCM’s marketing director, Jennifer Kleinberg, and share a lot of things that I hold close to my heart and style.
Shopping at Upper Canada Mall was such a blast, not only because they basically have all my go-to stores, but because there’s actually breathing room to browse. I hate shopping with my elbows out just to get to a piece (you can check out my entire photo diary in the top gallery 
).
On a Saturday, we walked around leisurely (without elbows out), picking out, and styling two of my favourite jumpsuit looks.
The relaxed jumpsuit look above obviously speaks to the sporty trend that’s such a craze right now. I can’t explain to you how incredibly comfortable the jersey for the M For Mendocino jumpsuit is though – you feel like you’re in your PJS 
I wanted to keep the dressier look, below, simple. Wearing a bold jumpsuit is a big enough statement already- let your accessories do the supporting and the jumpsuit do the shining 
. Coincidentally this silky Zara jumpsuit is also ridiculously comfy (can you spot a trend? haha)
You guys know my philosophy. If you’re comfortable in it, you’re confident in it. And that’s exactly the type of mentality you have to use when thinking about sporting a jumpsuit. I hope that this feature and the video inspires you to take a chance with your style, buy that bright yellow jumpsuit, and rock it like you’re hotter than Kim K.
